Problem Statement
Low conversion rate Faced with subpar conversion rates and an low influx of onboarded users, we confronted a pivotal issue head-on. Our task was to identify the precipitating factors for user drop-offs and to strategically spotlight incentives that would steer users toward the paid plans over the free version.
A detailed analysis uncovered that the existing onboarding process was excessively lengthy, leading to user fatigue and subsequent abandonment of the onboarding journey.
My Impact
I've forged a collaborative partnership with my design colleagues, listening carefully to their requirements, constraints, and came up with an array of potential solutions. Together, we worked at the redesign of 8fit's website, web sign-up funnel, and mobile app. I created new landing pages, dynamic marketing templates, and adaptable reusable components. These were meticulously crafted to align with 8fit's design system and brand guidelines, ensuring a seamless and consistent visual identity, resulting in a 15% increase in user engagement and a 20% improvement in page loading times.
We optimized the onboarding journey by streamlining steps while retaining sufficient inquiries to tailor a deeply personalized plan leading to a 25% boost in conversion rates and a 30% reduction in drop-offs, measured through analytics tracking and A/B testing.
Conclusion
Utilised Hotjar's recordings and heat-maps to analyse user behaviour, enhancing overall user satisfaction by 15%, as indicated by post-implementation user surveys. We strategically showcased Pro features like meals and meditation, cultivating a more holistic health perspective that resonated with users. Collaborated closely with developers, aligning design seamlessly with the development process, resulting in a 10% reduction in time-to-market for new features.
